Jhanae Sunflower Foundation Inc is committed to supporting the development of the future leaders of America. JSF provides programs and support programs based on education, mentoring, mental and physical health and youth involved in sports. JSF will continue to support youth and young adults striving to complete higher education and reaching their full potential in order to contribute positively to society.
It is of utmost importance to the legacy of Jhanae to have the recipient of the JSF scholarship to exhibit leadership, good character, and service. Jhanae Sunflower Foundation Inc, through generous donors from all over the country, is able to provide scholarships to incoming college freshman and graduate students that meet the required program qualifications.
Each year we award one undergraduate and one graduate scholarship per school year.
Scholarship Criteria
Incoming College Freshman
Must be a high school senior, high school graduate or students with GED Diploma, entering as a freshman at an accredited 4-year institution and enrolled full time for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Be a permanent resident of the United States of America.
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.0 grading scale at the time of high school graduation.
Must be a Florida resident.
Must have a minimum of 75 hours community service.
Letter of Recommendation from a school staff member such as a teacher, administrator or counselor. Recommendation could also be received from employer or church leader if graduation from high school has already occurred (No relatives or friends).
Recommendation will include contact information of person completing the letter.
Headshot.
Official Transcript sent directly from high school.
College Acceptance Letter (if applicable).
Scholarship Criteria
Graduate students only

Have completed or will complete undergraduate studies and plan to enter an accredited Masters or Graduate program in the academic year of 2023-2024.
Please note:

Scholarship recipients are required to use the funds in the 2023-2024 academic year only.

Funding will be sent directly to the school chosen by the recipient.
